Readers will know from my previous post [Many happy returns! 12 October 2015] that I am looking forward to a big birthday event early next year, when we celebrate 20 years in the field of blood test monitoring. The service has come a very long way since those early days, and our latest offering, TAMONITOR+, due out in the next few weeks, represents another step forward in usability and all-round performance.
But, did you know we don’t just do blood test monitoring?
A service based on TAMonitor called TACCARD has been used for over 5 years to support sexual health advice and condom distribution across London and in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk. It now benefits around 75,000 people and its use is growing all the time.
A similar service, called TASTART, which helps to address the problem of vitamin D deficiency among at-risk groups, was introduced last year and is currently used in a number of London Boroughs with more at the evaluation stage.
We’re also planning other variants of TAMonitor to support screening for sleep apnoea and serious arrhythmia like Atrial Fibrillation, and a home-based renal monitoring service. These services will use leading edge medical and point of care devices in partnership with TAMonitor and TAHomeCheck, our app-based ‘bridge’ between patients and TAMonitor.
TAHomeCheck will be available for your patients soon.
